It started with a stranger's shirt.

After COVID, on a trip to Savannah, I spotted someone wearing a t-shirt that said "If God is all you have, God is all you need" and it stopped me in my tracks. Faith on their chest, stylishly, boldly, unapologetically. Clean design and a message that hit deep. Nothing like the retreat shirts we've all stuffed to the back of our closet. I walked up to that stranger and told them I loved it, and I couldn't stop thinking about it for days.

Shortly after that trip, I got let go from my role as an executive producer at an animation studio. And instead of spiraling, I heard something quiet and clear: what can you make with this time? With a design background, a love for bold color, and a God who has never once stopped showing up for me, I launched God Smiles.

That's what this brand is. Faith that looks as good as it feels. Pieces made to pop in the streets, worn with pride, conversation starters, and reached for on a Tuesday. Not just to sleep in.

God has been so faithful to me, especially in one of the hardest seasons of my life. I believe He'll be faithful to you too. So wear it loud, wear it proud and don't forget to make God Smile. 🙏
